Funding for transport research and development
If you are a high-tech small business involved in the aeronautics or transport industry this funding could be for you.
FP7 funding for these areas is aimed at supporting the development of safer, greener and smarter European transport systems for the benefit of all citizens.
Of the €4.1bn dedicated to this funding stream, the share going to businesses is expected to be at least €615m. Businesses can have 75% of their R&D and 100% of the project management costs funded. Small and medium-scale collaborative projects can access up to €3m in grants.
All projects have to be transnational and so you are required to work in partnership with other companies or research institutes based elsewhere in the EU.
